Anastasia (A) Alevtin
Anastasia (A) Alevtin works with quiet quotidian subversion of dominant Western world-making lived by non-binary, queercrip, and migratised communities. Ecological crip justice and corpo-affectivity of chronic illness are their current focus. With the support of the Finnish Institute in the UK & Ireland, Art Promotion Centre Finland and Glasgow Seed Library, they are developing Dormancy, Reseeding, and Resistance, a project that engages with (communal) gardening and grandmothering as a queercrip tending practice in the contexts of anti-ableism and food in/security.
