dreaming of laho paratiisiis an audio-visual collaboration by artist and graphic designer Roby Redgrave McPherson& TUO TUO Cofounder and music artist Joni Judén aka Sisilisko. It is a curatorial project in three parts: publication, site-specific artwork made of organic materials, and audio-visual film. The film is a poetic triptych featuring three shorts that connect the project’s conceptual themes with elements of the artwork and installation site. The artwork was designed and built by Aleksi Vesaluoma and Tania Malréchaufféof Cararcara Collective. The score, created by Joni Judén aka Sisilisko, is composed of sounds recorded during a collective listening session and ceremony held near the artwork and in the surrounding forest at TUO TUO.

Down to Earth is a two day hands-on workshop with Aino Johansson and Sirja Moberg at Bioart Society's SOLU space. During the workshop participants will go through the process of how to make a chromatography and prepare some with their own soil samples. While working they will enter into conversations and discuss different aspects with the aim to cultivate our understanding of soil. Unfortunately, the workshop is full and we can't accept any more participants. A second workshop will be organized at the beginning of next year!

Since 2009, the Bioart Society has been running art&science residency Ars Bioarctica at the Kilpisjärvi Biological station located in the Finnish subarctic/Sápmi. So far 204 artists, scientists and transdisciplinary working groups have attended the residency. The Time and River are alike exhibition offers a glimpse into this residency, mediated through video, audio and photo works by five artists.
