Lau Kaker

Lau Kaker (they/them-BE) is an artist, curator and researcher based in Finland. Their projects are rooted in interdisciplinary and collective processes, exploring belonging and more-than-human stories. Lau works with intersections between anthropology, biology, and artistic practices. They hold a BFA from École de Recherche Graphique and an MA in Visual Cultures, Curating and Contemporary Art with a Textile Minor from Aalto University. Lau has exhibited and participated in residencies in Finland, Japan, Belgium, Cyprus, and the UK.
