Outi Vuoriranta
As an actor and performer Outi Vuoriranta is working in groups in the field of performing arts, visual arts, documentary theatre, circus, music and poetry. She is focusing on nature and the environment, as well as social themes in her work. For example a project by Rakkaudesta työryhmä; What Humans Can't Do (WHCD) which was a work combining circus, theatre and visual arts, exploring the capabilities of other living organisms and other animals of different species in relation to humans (Cirko 2023). Currently she is working with her solo project about glaciers and sorrow, and also in a collective called Hilmakollektiivi, where she works together with poet/ visual artist Silja Kejonen making performance art and visuals. She holds a Master of Theatre Arts degree from Tampere University (NÄTY).
