
Paula Humberg
Artist Paula Humberg works with photography and mixed media to investigate environmental change and our attitude toward nature. With an interest in experimental and scientific photography, her practice draws from biological research and art-science collaborations. She holds an MSc in biology and a BA in visual arts. Humberg’s current work includes examining biodiversity loss via moths and working with an ecologist who studies nocturnal pollination. Her works have been shown at the Helsinki Art Museum, the Finnish Museum of Photography, and several other venues. She was a BAS board member in 2021–22.
