Kim Simonsen :
I am a writer and scholar. I hold a PhD in literature and currently works as a scholar at the University of Amsterdam.
I arrange and curate festivals and literary and contemporary art events, mostly on post-humanist and new-materialist/eco-art themes and theory, (recently with The Laboratory of Aesthetics and Ecology) in Denmark at the publisher and platform Eksil.
I have published six books, poetry, non-fiction, and essays, translated into several languages, my poems have been published in magazines and anthologies. In 2021 my books will be translated into Danish, English, and Macedonian. Awarded the National Literary Award in the Faroe Island. A recent member of The Norwegian Writers Climate Action editorial board. I teach and write about post-humanism and new-materialist art theory.
